Christian Characters for Godly Living part 1

Faithfulness, Gratitude, & Hope

With all of the recent happenings in my life, I thought it perfect to begin this mini-series of sharing Bible verses expressing Christian characters for Godly living.

Because I am in a thankful mood, I decided to start with faith, gratitude, and hope.

I will share additional Christian characters for Godly living for the next few Thursdays to come. So make sure you subscribe, because you are not going to want to miss this!

Faithfulness

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, ²¹ and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. ²² And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”      Romans 4:20 – 22

Gratitude

Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Psalm 100:4

Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble. Psalm 119:165

Hope

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24
