I Have a Purpose

It’s Wednesday, and that means we are looking at something to make us better. For the next 7 Wednesday we are looking at God’s promises for our Working-On-Me Wednesday’s focus.  Since I’ve started this WOMW series, I’ve really been looking at bible verses to help us get through hard times. I wanted to shift things just a little by looking at verses to empower us to remember our purposes in life. In the bible you’ll find God’s 7 promises for us. In these promises you not only see what amazing things God can do, you also find what amazing things you can do through God. So to start this mini-series off, I figured why  not look at verses that shows your purpose.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. (AMP)

Proverbs 16:9

A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life],
But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them. (AMP)

John 15:16

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (KJV)

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. (KJV)

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (ESV)
