Verses to Read When Questioning God’s Plan

There is nothing wrong with wondering about your future and preparing for what God has in-store for you. The problem arises when you start to worry about your future and question God’s will. If you have anxiety like I do, worrying can become you. Planning is the key. And organization is the relief.  But God is always the answer. Today I am sharing Bible verses to read when you are questioning or worrying about your future, that will help you rest your trust in God’s will.

Matthew 6:25, 33-34

25 Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?

33 But seek ye first His kingdom, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (ASV)

James 4:13-15

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” (ESV)

P.S.  God’s plans will always be greater and more beautiful than all of your disappointments.
