5 Non-traditional Valentine’s Day Date Night Ideas

5 Non-traditional Creative Valentine’s Day Date Night Ideas

Valentine’s Day is just a week away, and although I am all for the extra love day, I’m not for the traditional date nights. These non-traditional Valentine’s Day date ideas are sure to keep the kindle going in your relationship and won’t break the bank.

#1. Ride a Ferris Wheel

Now this one is only for those of you who have access to a Ferris wheel. Taking a nice romantic ride on a Ferris wheel is so dreamy. And since February 14th is national Ferris Wheel Day, it’s more than fitting for the occasion. I would still through in a meal, cause you know most girls can eat. But this date idea is a great way to see things from a different perspective, no pun intended, lol.

#2. Go Hiking and Watch the Sunset and Sunrise

How beautifully romantic is it watching the sunset? Not as much as it is when you wake up to watch the sunrise too. So, this date night idea is clearly for our nature-loving pair. Rent out a cabin close to a perfect view of the sunrise with an equally perfect view of the sunset. Use the time to have deep conversations and get to know each other on a deeper level, even if you’ve been together for years.

#3. Drive-In Date

Whether outside or indoors, create a romantic and cozy drive in for you and your love to watch your favorite movies, have food and drinks, and cuddle up with each other.

#4. Recreate Your First Date

How fun would this be to re-do your first date over? As if it were your first date, ask each other questions you’ve never asked before, and reconnect with your love.

#5. Rooftop Date

Only do this if you have a flat roof or a rooftop bar/restaurant to go to. Have blankets and warm drinks to keep you cozy while you two stargaze the night away.

Bonus- Valentine’s Day Scavenger

How fun would this be? Whether around the house or around your town, place meaningful clues about your relationship that would lead to a grand prize. This is perfect for that proposal guys.
