5 Things You Should Also Do When You Say I’ll Pray For You

The last thing someone in need usually wants to hear when asking for or needing help is, I will pray for you. Let’s be real. How often do you need some kind of aid from someone and are just peachy when their response is, I’ll pray for you? When going through difficult times, prayer is very important, and our acts of kindness should continue to be a blessing along with our prayers.

We all know that prayer works, and it definitely changes things, however, there are 5 things you should do in addition to telling someone you will pray for them. 9 out of 10 times, your sick friend is not going to tell you just how sick they really are and how much they could use a hand or two around the house. They won’t come out and say, I’m too weak to fix myself something to eat. They are not going to tell you that their kids don’t have any clean clothes to wear because they are not able to do laundry.

So what can we do, in addition to praying, to help others during difficult times? Here are 5 simple ways to take action in addition to praying.

  1. Come out and say it! Ask your friend what they need and how you can help. Don’t take “I’m fine” for an answer. And make sure you follow through with whatever it is they say they need help with. If you are not able to do it yourself, get someone who will.
  2. Feed them! I was going to say cook for them, but that may be a stretch for some. Make or buy them a meal or meals to eat. Another great thing to do is go grocery shopping for them, just make sure you know what foods they like first.
  3. Quality time! Spend some time with them. Stop by for a short visit, go for a walk or drive, call them on the phone, pray with them, have bible study with them. Let them know you care and are rooting for them.
  4. Clean! Clean up around the house for them, do laundry, wash dishes, or better yet, hire a cleaning crew to do it for you.
  5. Provide! I know this one is vague, but it’s not vague when you know what your friend’s needs are. Provide rides to appointments for your sick friend. Provide babysitting for your friend who needs a break. So pretty much, if their need doesn’t fall under 2-4, provide whatever that need is to help your friend out.

 

Also remember, difficult times look different on and for everyone. This is why it is important to ask what’s going on in your loved one’s lives and ask what you can do to help them. And just because someone wears difficulty well, it does not mean they are not “dying” on the inside. Just one simple act of kindness and ave someone’s life.

    در بین این اختلالات سابقه اضطراب، افسردگی و اختلالات خورد
    و خوراک، شایعترین تشخیص گزارش شده است.
    ۶۷٪ گزارش کردند که اختلالشان توسط متخصصان روان تشخیص
    داده شده است. تقریباً نیمی از پاسخ‌دهندگان در طی دو سال گذشته خودزنی یا افکار مربوط به خودکشی را گزارش کرده‌اند.

    اما در مورد دوجنسگرا چطور؟ درصد

    جذابیت و احساسات جنسی و عاطفی

    به حساب می‌آید و بنابراین باید به دنبال درمان آن بود یا نه؟ پاسخ
    به این سوال بسیار پیچیده است.
    انجمن روانشناسی آمریکا اعلام کرده
    است که میل جنسی می‌تواند در یک نمودار بین همجنسگرایی مطلق تا دگر جنسگرایی مطلق
    قرار گیرد. از طرفی برخی فشار‌های جامعه ممکن است این افراد
    را آشفته سازد و یا عدم وجود آموزش‌های جنسی لازم ممکن است سبب شود نوجوان یا جوان فکر کند که وضعیتش غیر عادی است.
    اکثر افراد بر این باورند که افراد بایسکشوال همان افرادی هستند
    که به آن‌ها هم‌جنس‌گرا گفته می‌شود، در حالی که این تصور غلط است.

    و به هر دو جنس تمایل نشان می‌دهند؛ به عبارت دیگر یک مرد بایسکشوال هم نسبت به مردان و

    میل جنسی می‌تواند بین یک طیف از هم جنس گرایی مطلق تا دگر جنس گرایی مطلق قرار گرفته باشد.
    یعنی هیچ اجباری وجود ندارد که فرد حتما
    هم جنس گرا یا دگر جنس گرا باشد.
    از طرف دیگر فشارهای روانی جامعه، عدم
    حمایت و طرد شدن می‌تواند باعث احساس غیرعادی بودن در فرد
    شود.
    طی مقالاتی که در این زمینه وجود دارد، موضوعی که باعث می‌شود یک فرد دچار اختلالی باشد که حتی با وجود همسر، باز هم تمایل به هم جنس خود داشته باشد، دستکاری هورمون‌های
    بدن، توسط عوامل بیرونی است. یکی از مهمترین عواملی که باعث می‌شود یک فرد، تمایلاتش
    به سمت بایسکشوالیتی سوق کند، عدم داشتن رابطه جنسی صحیح است.
    وقتی فرد، آنطور که باید، پس از
    بلوغ رابطه جنسی صحیح برقرار نکند و بیشتر از این که رابطه جنسی
    سالم داشته باشد، چشمان خود را در مقابل فیلم‌های متنوع پورن قرار داده باشد،
    بذر چنین روحیاتی درونش کاشته می‌شود.

    به هر حال اما نکته ای که قصد داریم به شما بگوییم این است که
    اگر با چنین افرادی رو به رو شدید، با آن‌های تغییر رفتار نشان ندهید، چرا که
    شاید تا حد زیادی این اخلاق، دست
    خود فرد نباشد. همچنین در

    این احتمال وجود دارد که محیطهای مختلف حاملگی یا نسخه های مختلف DNA
    ممکن است باعث شود افراد همجنسگرا ، لزبین یا دوجنسگرا
    بیشتر شوند. یکی از بهترین راه ها برای بررسی
    اینکه چقدر ژنتیک بر گرایش جنسی تأثیر می گذارد، نگاه به دوقلوها است.
    اگر گرایش جنسی صرفاً ژنتیکی بود، انتظار داشتید که همه دوقلوهای یکسان دارای
    گرایش جنسی یکسان باشند.
