5 Ways To Stay Motivated This Winter

It’s almost Winter, which means for many of us, it’s already started to get cold.

With the time change in itself, the lack of sun causes for a lack of motivation, not to add the help of the cold weather.

I know, all I want to do when I get off of work is go home, put on the fireplace, and just relax. Which would be fine, if that’s all I had to do.

The cold weather and lack of sunlight is the perfect combination for losing your motivation during the Winter season, but these 5 tips are sure to help you stay motivated.

1. Exercise

Staying active is a sure fit way to keep your body and mind motivated this Winter.

Exercising releases endorphins, which makes you feel, well, good.

2. Get Sunlight

With less daylight, it’s important to get as much vitamin D as possible. Find ways to spend time outdoors as much as possible to get the vitamin D your body needs to fight off that cabin fever.

3. Make Your Goals Visible

Nothing new here. Out of sight, out of mind. The same goes for your goals. If you don’t get a visual reminder of your goals, you are more likely to forget them or put them off. Each day, set your daily goals and put them somewhere where you can and will look at them throughout the day to accomplish them.

4. Freshen Up Your Space

New things always seem to add a spark. That new thing can simply be cleaning up your space and changing things around. Tidying up your space alone is motivating. Whenever my home is fresh and clean, my mood is just that much more positive.

5. Freshen Up Your Look

Nothing’s more motivating than a new look. Update your style, whether beauty or fashion and watch how much more motivated you are to fulfill your goals and get stuff done.
