Summer Weekend Morning Routine

If only it was the weekend every day. Well, I guess there would not ever be a weekend then, right?

I love having an extra couple of hours on my Saturday mornings to really enjoy my morning routine. I especially love my Saturday mornings during the Summer, when the sun is already up before me.

There’s nothing like having the sun up and ready to greet you as soon as you wake up in the morning.

Even though it’s the weekend and the Summer, I still like to get up early to get my day started. I always feel like I’ve missed most of my day whenever I wake up later than I planned, even if it’s waking up at 9:00 am.

And with it being the weekend, it’s important to have a routine that can easily be adjusted for those spontaneous weekend plans. 

For instance, my Sunday morning will look pretty much the same throughout the year because of church. However, my Saturday morning routine may have to change depending on a morning meeting or plans to be away from home.

Here is my updated weekend morning routine that works best for me. It helps to get me in a motivated state to have a productive and yet relaxing day.

Wake Up With The Sun

As I said earlier, I try my best to wake up early on the weekend. I wake up at 6:30, to keep with my habit of waking up early throughout the week. This helps motivate me to get out of bed and get stuff done.

Makeup My Bed

I believe making your bed will give you that one less reason to get back into it. I know when

I make my bed in the morning, I feel just a little more put together and more awake. This way, when I come back to do my morning devotion, I’m less likely to fall back to sleep.

Freshen Up 

I noticed that when I freshen up before doing my devotion, I am more alert and focused.

Washing my face, and brushing my teeth can really give me the energy I need to get my day

started. On Saturdays, I like to give myself a little facial with a deep clean followed by a facial mask. I’ll leave my mask on while I do my devotion.

Morning Devotion

As usual for my morning devotion, I follow whichever one of my seasonal Bible Reading Plans I am currently reading and then go into my morning prayer. My new Summer Bible Reading Plan has been a joy to read as it focuses on building your Faith. 

I follow my Bible reading with my morning prayers. For my devotion time, I recite prayers I have saved to my Prayer Board on Pinterest.

Get Dressed

I take my showers the night before. I seem to move faster in the mornings when I do. So when I’m done with my devotion time, I take off my facial mask, and go ahead and get dressed. If I’m just staying home for work, I’ll just throw on something comfortable to work in. If I have plans outside of the house, I’ll go ahead and get dolled up, may even throw on some makeup depending on where I’m going. For the most part, I like to keep Saturday as a makeup-free day to let my face have a break.

Quick & Easy Breakfast

Breakfast on the weekends is usually a granola bar and some fruit. I will typically eat  brunch at about 1:00 pm to make up for breakfast. 

I also like to have my detox tea on Saturdays, so I may throw that in with my breakfast, if not, I’ll have later on in the day too. 

While I’m in the kitchen, I’ll go ahead and feed my fur babies, Comet and Cosmo.

Get To Work

I haven’t quite mastered the skill of not working on the weekends. I normally take my “breakfast” into my office and eat it as I get started with my work.

I’ll work on finishing up a blog post, Instagram engagement, or just finalizing some plans I have for content. Sadly, I normally work until about 3:00 pm, so that ends my weekend morning routine.

Well, there you have it. These are the steps I take in my morning routine each day that has

been working best for me. I hope you can take what I do and apply some of the steps to

help with your stress-free morning routine.

    اند که هسته هیپوتالاموس قدامی در مردان بایسکشوال کوچکتر از مردان دگرجنسگرا بوده و تقریبا اندازه زنان
    دگر جنس گرا است. همچین فرضیه دیگر مطرح می کند، افرادی که کروموزوم Y اضافی داشته گرایشات
    بایسکشوال و تکانشگری در آن ها دیده می شود.
    بایسکشوال یکی از گرایش های جنسی و عاطفی همچون لزبین،
    همجنس گرایی و غیره است که به افراد دو جنسگرا اطلاق می شود.
    به طوری که امروزه نظریات
    بسیار مختلفی در رابطه با این گرایش عنوان می
    شود. چنان که برخی از افراد معتقد هستند این گرایش
    تنها جنبه جنسی دارد.
    Queer عبارتی چتری است برای گرایشات جنسی خارج از هتروسکشوال
    که ریشه‌های سیاسی داشته و مربوط به فعالیت‌های LGBTQ هاست.
