back to school roundup

Back To School Roundup

It’s already, that time of year again, back to school.

For today, I’m chiming in to my teacher’s brain and sharing the must-have ideas for back to school.

These are items that will make your (or your child’s) school experience so much easier this year.

Planner – keep track of all of your plans, activities, and assignments all in one place.

Stylish bookbag – a stylish bah is a double-duty bag that works as your purse and backpack, so it has to be cute and functional.

Coordinated notebooks and folders – use the same color notebook and folder for one class. This helps to keep your work organized and separated.

Year’s worth of supplies – get all of the supplies you need at the beginning of the year while they are on sale. Many of the supplies available at the beginning of the school year are not always available during mid-year between semesters.

Refillable Water Bottle – some teachers frown upon letting students out of the class for a drink of water. Having your own refillable water bottle will keep you hydrated, eliminate missing valuable instruction time, and helps the environment too.

Laptop or Chromebook – although I love using a desktop to keep me motivated to work at my desk, having a portable PC allows you to work where ever you need. It is also a great resource for having all of your electronic information on one device.

Comfortable writing utensils – don’t go for the cute pens and pencils. Go for writing utensils that are going to be the most comfortable to write with. This will help eliminate finger cramps, blisters, and poor penmanship.

Pencil holder – pencil cases and holders have been through a drastic makeover since my school days. They are so handy at keeping all of your small supplies in one place instead of being spread out in the bottom of your bag.
