Summer 2021 Bible Reading Plan

And just like that, we are finishing up our Spring Bible Reading Plan and getting ready to start our new plan for the Summer.

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely enjoyed reading through the Count It All Joy Bible Study this Spring. If you’re new here, I highly recommend taking time to read through the suggested Bible verses to remind you that there is joy to be found in the midst of struggle.

For this Summer’s Bible Study, I am focusing on Bible verses that will remind us of how grateful we are for all of the ways God provides for us. Now that we know we can make it through our struggles with praise and joy, let’s lift our spirits and show our gratitude.

Summer Bible Reading Plan

For the next twelve weeks, you will meditate on one scripture each week. These scriptures should be added to your morning devotion and/or nightly reading found below.

Night Devotion
Daily Reading of Proverbs

Each day, continue to read the chapter of Proverbs that corresponds to that day. If this is your first time joining our seasonal Bible Reading Plan if the date is June 17th, you would read Proverbs 17.

Nightly Reading

Each night, end your night with gratitude and praise by reading;

  • Psalm 23
  • Psalm 63
  • Matthew 6:9-13 (the Lord’s Prayer)

Prayer

I always go into prayer after my morning and nightly Bible Readings. For these prayer times, I use my Prayer boards on Pinterest.

In the morning, I also do a personal prayer before going to work each day. And don’t forget to pray throughout the day!

xoxo Tish
