2019 Goals Quarter Year Check-In

2019 Goals | Quarter Year Check-In

How to Revamp Your Goals

Can you believe it? It’s already April and a quarter of the year has already bypassed us.

Was I the only one who had a mini-panic attack mid-March when I realized that I was nowhere near where I should be with accomplishing my goals?

It’s so easy to lose focus and motivation after the new year and life sets in. Once reality set in, I was super pumped to revamp my goals and get back on the productivity train.

This is also a great time to just revisit your goals and see if any of them have changed.

For me, I completely started a brand new Youtube channel which shifted one of my goals a little. Although it was something I contemplated last year, it was definetly not one of my goals for this year. And since I hadn’t really thought about where I want my new channel to go, I didn’t really think about how it can shift the success of my goals for my original channel.

This is why it is important to do weekly check-ins of your progress. How are you coming along with your smaller goals and tasks that will ultimately get you to accomplishing your major goals? Have your goals shifted are completely changed? Have you even started working towards your goals?

No matter the answer to any of those questions, it’s not too late. The good thing is that we are only three months into the year and have nine whole months to go. And if an actual human can be created in that time, so can whatever your dreams are.

4 Ways To Revamp Your Goals

#1. Look at The Big Picture

Start from the drawing board, which in this case is your end goal. What is it that you are wanting to accomplish? Are those 3 – 5 big goals still your big goals? If so, what will it take for you to accomplish them with the time you have remaining.

#2. Break It Down

Nothings changed here. Break down your big goals into smaller monthly goals and then into daily/weekly task. This may seem tedious, but it makes your big goals just that much easier to achieve.

#3. Take Action

What action steps will it take to accomplish those daily/weekly task? And don’t overwhelm yourself with trying to figure this out for the rest of the year. Do this a month or even a week at a time. Whatever works best for you.

#4. Be Flexible

Don’t be afraid to fail or have to make changes. Both failure and change are needed for growth. And to be real, if you knew exactly what to do, your goals would be accomplished already. It’s okay to make mistakes and adjustments. The key is to be flexible enough to learn and grow and just keep going!
