2019 Spring Decor

2019 Spring Decor

Going into this year I said I was not going to get any new home decor for Spring. Well, that decision sure didn’t last too long.

If you’ve been with me for some time, you know that I love all things Spring (except allergies) and that includes Spring decor.

I went with a simple Spring vibe again this year but still wanted to spruce things up with my throw pillows and add a floral design.

Initially, my plan was to use the coral and navy that I already have, but I’m not quite over my aversion to coral just yet. And although I think navy and coral look wonderful together, I decided to try watercolors instead.

I found this gorgeous watercolor floral print set while browsing Target.com. I thought the colors would look great with my grays and would add just enough of a pop to transform the space for Spring.

I kept my blush pink pillows and throw as my constants in the space, and absolutely love how the floral print and pink complement each other.

By keeping a constant in the room, that allows you to better stay on budget. You can reuse the items you already have and keep the new “accent” items to a minimum and still achieve a “new” look.

My two constants have been blush pink and navy. I try to keep one of these two as my main color constant and choose to add new seasonal pieces that will complement one or both of them. In this case, I could easily use this new floral print with the navy as well.

Because Spring is the season of Easter, I added a few rustic touches with a Happy Easter banner and some paper mache bunnies. I planned to use some painted Easter eggs, but couldn’t figure out how to tie them into my decor.

Here are some pictures of the space as well as a video tour for you all. I’ll also have all of the available products down below for you to shop!
