3 Steps to Intentional Living
I’m all about living the best life you can possibly live. But, we all know that is easier said than done.
There have been so many times in my life where I lost sight of who I was. My life just wasn’t the life I wanted, and I felt like I was just playing along with a role that was handed to me.
So often, this is the reality for us women. We are given roles that we are supposed to play and when who we are don’t fit those roles, we find ourselves lost.
The truth is, we probably should have found ourselves lost the moment we accepted that role that was never intended for us in the first place.
Have you ever been at that point in your life where you lost sight of who you are?
How do you want to live your life? What do you want your life to look like?
Honestly answering these questions will get you to living an intentional life.
Once you have figured out the life you truly want to live, here are 7 steps to help you living an intentional life.
Step #1. Determine your values and beliefs
What do you believe in? What do you value in life? Does what you want in life align with your core values and beliefs?
Step #2. Become Aware
Get to know who you are. Listen to yourself. Determine why you respond/react a certain way and to certain things. Figure out how to slow down and take in what’s going on in your life before reacting. Before responding ask yourself, does it value my time? & will it benefit me?
Step #3. Set Goals
How are you going to get your life to be a life lived with intention? Think about the actions it will take to move towards your vision. Think about the habits you need to break to make this a reality.
