bible verses about new beginnings

Fall 2020 Bible Reading Plan

We are well into our season of Fall. I have found myself to see Fall as a season of starting new beginnings. I  know that Spring is known for new life and new beginnings, but if it were not for what takes place in the Fall, we would not have those new beginnings in the Spring.

When it came time to think about what I wanted the focus of this Fall Bible Reading Plan to be, new beginnings just seemed perfect. You know that I’m all about planning and thought, why wait until Spring when we could start preparing ourselves now?

This year has been rough for all of us.  So, when thinking about Fall and the process of the trees starting to prepare themselves for their new beginning, I too wanted to undergo a similar process. I love how change is the driving force with the leaves changing color before they Fall. The tree’s appearance changing as it’s stripped of its former glory and faces the coldest period of its life, with faith knowing that what’s to come is even more bountiful.

h

What if I told you God wants that same process to happen within us?

For the next thirteen weeks, we are going to take a deeper look into what God tells us through His word about  letting go of your former self to receive the abundance God has for you, being renewed, and new beginnings.

Prayer

I always go into prayer after my morning and nightly Bible Readings. For these prayer times, I use my Prayer boards on Pinterest. In the morning, I also do a personal prayer before going into work each day. And don’t forget to pray throughout the day!
