Spring 2020 Bible Reading Plan

It’s the first day of Spring, and with all that is going on, I am super excited about starting this new Spring Bible Reading plan.

As I mentioned in my How I’m Growing Spiritually post, my Bible study focus for Spring will be on Spiritual growth. So, for the next twelve weeks, the goal is for each of us to deepen our relationship with God despite what is happening in our lives or around us.

Spring Bible Reading Plan

For the next twelve weeks, you will meditate on a scripture each week. These scriptures should be added to your morning devotion and/or nightly reading found below.

Daily Reading of Proverbs

Each day, continue to read the chapter of Proverbs that corresponds to that day. If this is your first time joining our seasonal Bible Reading Plan, if the date is March 20th, you would read Proverbs 20.

H

Nightly Reading

Each night, end your night with gratitude and praise by reading;

  • Psalm 23
  • Psalm 63
  • Matthew 6:9-13 (the Lord’s Prayer)

Prayer

I always go into prayer after my morning and nightly Bible Readings. For these prayer times, I use my Prayer boards on Pinterest. With our focus being on Spiritual Growth, I’ve added a section with prayers specifically for that which I will be adding to my devotion a well.

 In the morning, I also do a personal prayer before going into work each day.
