Summer Bible Reading Plan 2019

Summer Bible Reading Plan | 2019

Summer begins tomorrow, and we’re already into our next Bible Reading Plan.

I have been loving the seasonal Bible reading plans with weekly verses to focus on, and it seems you all really enjoy them too. So, we’re going to stick with that format for Summer.

If you’ve followed my previous Bible Reading Plans, you know I do morning devotion and a nighttime devotion. I like starting my day with a word of thanks and a lesson and ending my day with praise and surrender.  Therefore, I am going to keep those readings the same. You can decide whether you want to implement the weekly focus in your mornings or nights depending on when it’s the best study time for you.

Summer Bible Study

Our focus for the past two seasons has been all about intentionality. Being intentional is all good, but without faith, it doesn’t matter. So our focus for the Summer is Faith. Whenever given a verse to read, I recommend always reading a couple of verses ahead and/or after to fully understand the context of that one verse.

  • Week 1 – 1 John 5:5
  • Week 2 – Romans 1:17
  • Week 3 – Mark 11:24
  • Week 4 – Matthew 17:20
  • Week 5 – Hebrews 11:1
  • Week 6 – 1 Corinthians 2: 1-5
  • Week 7 – Galatians 2:20
  • Week 8 – Hebrews 11:6
  • Week 9 – Psalm 119:28-30
  • Week 10 – James 1:2-7
  • Week 11 – Galatians 3:22-26
  • Week 12 – 1 Peter 1:5-9
