I’m always talking about self-care. Selfcare is just super important and more and more people are starting to understand why. There are so many different forms of self-care, and today I am sharing my top six types of self-care and easy ways to practice each!

Spiritual Selfcare

Spiritual Selfcare is activities that nourish your soul and helps you deepen your connection with God.

Ways to Practice Spiritual Selfcare
  • Pray 
  • Meditate  
  • Read Scripture  
  • Listen to Christian Music
  • Attending Bible Study 
  • Joining a Connection Group at Church

Mental Selfcare

Mental (or intellectual) self-care is activities that nourish and challenge your mind and expands your knowledge.

Ways to Practice Mental Selfcare
  • Solving Puzzles
  • Reading
  • Studying a New Topic of Interest
  • Visiting Museums
  • Therapy 

Emotional Selfcare

Emotional Selfcare involves being in tune with your emotions. The provision of what is necessary for identifying and nurturing your feelings, your conscious inner state, and your intellect. (Desert Alchemy)

  • Get to Know Your Emotional Triggers
  • Put Your Own Needs First 
  • Allow Yourself to Feel

Financial Selfcare is developing habits that set you up to reach your financial goals and teach you how to properly saving money.

Social Selfcare

Social self-care is activities that nurture our relationships with others. This will differ based on your social personality (introvert/extrovert).

  • Do a Fun Activity With a Friend

Physical Selfcare

Physical self-care is simply taking care of our bodies. The inner and outer self.

  • Taking Care of Your Skin
